John Amarilios stands for:

UNIVERSAL HEALTHCARE - A statewide healthcare program to cover CT's
uninsured. Maine had done it; why can't we?

FAIR VEHICLE TAXES AND DISINCENTIVES TO SUVS - Not only can we improve air quality and reduce the burden on our roads, we can bankrupt the terrorists currently financed by petrodollars.

NO MORE CASINOS - End state complicity in a miserable industry of addiction.

REINSTATEMENT OF CONNECTICUT'S USURY LAWS - Stop the banks and credit card companies from charging exorbitant interest rates and gouging those who can least afford it.

FORECLOSURE DEFENSE - Change our foreclosure laws to allow families 5 years to restructure their mortgage arrearages. Outlaw municipal tax foreclosures, and increase homestead exemptions to the full assessed value. Creditors should not be able to take people's homes away.

John met with Green Party Vice Presidential candidate Pat LaMarche when she visited Fairfield County in August.
