• Born 1947, grew up in West Hartford

Work:

• Seven years as Chef de Cuisine and Pastry (including Cafe 880 Jazz, Hartford) and teacher of Pastry Baking
• Ten years in retail electronics and audio sales (including Tweeter, Etc., Newington)
• Fifteen years in floor covering trade; managed eight retail stores (including Carpet Factory Outlet, Avon)
• Owned three businesses--made money in two of them
