In attendance: Fairfield County: David Bedell; Hartford County: Mike DeRosa (GPCT Co-Chair), Chris Reilly (GPCT Treasurer), Rob Barstow; New London: Erick Carrión, Daryl Finizio, Mirna Martínez, Daniel Spurr, Bob Stuller, Ronna Stuller (GPCT Secretary, Recorder); Shoreline: Owen Charles, Jim Connolly; Waterford: Bill Collins, Carl D’Amato, Josh Kelly, Matt Tytla, Baird Welch-Collins (GPCT Co-Chair, Facilitator), Margaret Welch; At Large: Patricia Kane, Vic Lancia, Linda Thompson.
Quorum was met. Meeting started at 7:08pm
 
1. Attendees introduced themselves.
 
2. Minutes of the September 28 SCC meeting: Baird moved to approve, 2nd by Josh; passed unanimously. Minutes of the October11 EC meeting: Pat moved to accept for the record, 2nd by Baird; passed unanimously.
 
3. Treasurer’s Report: GPCT balance is $813.86.07; $6.21 was spent for 800 number, and $60.00 in donations was received since last month. Our federal account remains unchanged at $1,218.12.
 
4. Updates and upcoming events

a. Saturday, October 28, 7pm: Music fundraiser, hosted jointly by the New London and Waterford chapters, will be held at the NLGP campaign office.

b. Wednesday, November 1, 6:30pm: Screening of “Iron Jawed Angels” at the NLGP campaign office.

c. Saturday, November 4, 4pm: Meet & Greet with Waterford Green candidates at Filomena’s, 262 Boston Post Rd, Waterford

d. Sunday, November 5, 7pm, New London Green Party meeting at the NLGP campaign office.

e. Linda shared AFL-CIO Resolution 50: War Is Not the Answer.
5. Next meeting will be held on Thursday, November 30, at the Portland Waverly Center,  7 Waverly Avenue, Portland, CT at 7pm.
 
Baird moved to adjourn, 2nd by Bob, passed unanimously. Meeting ended at 7:16pm.
 
 
 
Following the business meeting, each candidate present – Mirna Martínez, Erick Carrión, Baird Welch-Collins, Bill Collins, Carl D’Amato, Josh Kelly, Owen Charles, and Jim Connelly – spoke about campaign issues and the experience of running for office. Video clips of candidate remarks will be posted on the Green Party of CT Facebook page as they are available.
