Candidate Profile: Paul's campaign will raise issues of building democracy, reveal instances of corporate welfare in Connecticut, make education a priority for state funding.  Paul will focus on the creation of sane, long-term energy policy focusing on ecological sustainability. Paul will explore ways to provide property tax relief.

"People need to awaken from our culture of consumption to realize that happiness, good health and democratic government can't be bought.  Our government is only as uncorrupt and democratic as the degree of participation on the part of the people."

Paul proposes a major structural transformation in government to promote democratic participation and reduce the influence of large corporations.
